Respite of Hope, an inaugural project of Catholic Charities Diocese of Youngstown, was created alongside of Mercy Health, Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley, the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, and distinct committed private donors to meet an urgent need by founding a respite care unit located and managed by project partner – Meridian HealthCare.
Grounded in the shared mission of compassion, dignity, and holistic healing, Respite of Hope will provide short-term residential care, integrated case management, and supportive services to promote recovery, housing stability, and long-term well-being.
